So I am playing Riven and I have a build but I dont think its as good as it can be can I have and suggestions as to items or full builds that are good that would be great.

My Build:
- Merc treds
- Bloodthirster
- Frozen Mallet
- Maw of Mal
-Atmas
- Guardian Angle

well, it depends on your team comp
but if you are lucky enough to be on a team where you don't have to build tanky most people go

1*Merc treds
1*Last Whisper
1*Guardian Angel
3*Bloodthirsters.


if you do have to build tanky people generally go

Maw, Frozen Mallet or if you really have to Warmogs.

substitute those for less Bloodthirster's, although be sure to get at least one bloodthirster.

Your build is never as good as it can be if it's the same every match

You should get as much damage early as you can. Get Ninja Tabi if they have a lot of AD especially if you are laning against an AD. You need your defensive runes to counter the other champion so you don't have to buy defences early. My runes are AD quints, armor pen red, armor/MR glyph, armor/MR seal.

This is my usual build: Boots 4 potions, Bruitaliser, Doran's Blade, Doran's Blade, GA/Bloodthirster/Maw. I don't like Frozen Mallet on her because she is a bad chaser. Riven is mainly burst.

Riven is all about AD. Generally speaking items like Mallet and Atma's aren't bad, but have build paths that don't give her much return while she's building them. When you consider that Riven gains survivability through additional AD you understand why that's a bit counterproductive.

A good build for Riven is like, boots, 2-3 doran's, BF sword->bloodthirster, finishing your boots, then choosing between:

Maw of Malmortius, Guardian Angel, additional Bloodthirsters, or Last Whisper.

Any defensive items should be cheap or have additional AD, like Aegis of the Legion. Frozen Mallet is an OK item on Dominion, or if you find you're getting kited a LOT, but it's very expensive and only gives 20 AD. AD is more cost-effective on Riven than pure health so if you buy mallet you're buying it for the active. Generally just trying to have red buff is better than buying a Mallet.

Generally, my build (sans doran's blades) has been:

Boots, Bloodthirster, Maw/GA (in whatever order is appropriate), Last Whisper+two defensive items, usually Aegis/another BT.

Your build is pretty good, just if you're losing lane buy some defense. Opposite occurs, buy defense anyway because it's Riven baby..
