If you think that 20 damage on his Q at level 18 is what made him OP then all I can say is "lol".

The Q buff was the least of his issues.

Rengar always had power, his issue was his clunkiness made it hard to unlock, and frustrating. His bigger buffs were the ult MS, and the biggest one is the W animation cancel, which was atrocious before. And his passive getting bug fixes as well.

TBH, Rengar had always been strong, but he was frustrating to play, and you had many fail moments. People who stuck with him often did well with him even before the patch. And no, it's not about the Q.

Is it better to use void staff + merc trend over abyssal + sorc shoes do you think?

Ryze bot will **** him up and can actually even zone him out. Although zoning out is dangerous in Dom imo cause it makes you vulnerable to ganks.

Q+W +E everytime he goes close to CS or jumps you. There's no way he can do as much burst as you can... Ryze cd are short enough to beat him anytime anywhere.
