morde uses health?
not that it matters once hp5 or revolver

He uses health to get free health + shield

The bigger problem is mobility on manaless champions.

Riven/Lee Sin are the biggest examples.

tbh, i feel its not the mobility (lee sin only has burst mobility, and riven only has mlti-skill sustained mobility)
its the bonuses they must have (along with other top laners, bruisers and ad casters) due to low itemization

You're right, his HP to shield conversion is pretty bad. But once he spends 1200g his skills are now cooldown skills.

It's worth noting that the CC on manaless characters is significantly weaker than on those with mana. I was thinking the same until a ran into a joke thread of what if champions had cooldowns of 1 second or less on their non-ult abilities.

Not a single resourceless character has a hard CC of even one second in duration, while mana or energy based characters have abilities like AoE knockups, 2 second disables, or taunts lasting from 3 seconds single target to 1.5 seconds AoE.

not at all. Early game it might give them a tad bit of an advantage, but mid and late game the only champions that have mana problems are Swain, Anivia and Amumu. Everyone else either works mana in some way to there build, or just grow out of needing to spam the abilities.

Im not saying the above champions are balanced or unbalanced, Im saying mana isn't that big of a deal.
