riven like many others can snowball real well, if you shut her down early game she can have a hard time but if shes survives it thru late game she can give people a run for their money

Well in a teamfight, Riven can survive longer than Yi.

She's as good and as typical as any other top. Builds tanky enough and does good damage. Snowballs hard both ways. Like everyone else, solo top with Riven remains a skill + gank success lane.

Personally, I'd take Irelia or Jayce over her, but I think Riven is fun and strong nonetheless.
