This should have never happened if Riot planned this carefully. There's an itch and some just gave in to look. Reason why the players should have been in a sound proof box. Along with mirror tints on the inside so, the players cant see the audience.

Dignitas was allowed to eat lunch with curse, yet they were given no leniency.

Did they not make this a sticky thread to ensure that it drops off of front page soon after? So people who don't go to LOL forums or Reddit daily will probably miss this info

To be honest the fact that a team did or did not gain significant benefits is irrelevant. The fact is they attempted to gain the upper hand by knowing where the opposing team was located. Just because they didn't get/prevent a kill, or gain/not gain a buff, should not hide the fact that they attempted to.

Attempted murder is very different from murder. I understand that you think their intentions should be all there is to it, sadly there is more to it.

Cheating in a tournament or in anything is not justificable in Any way, even if it failed.

Welcome to Riot, where they hope all there transgressions are forgotten in a day or two. Lets take this time to remember a few of them.
The Garen skin twitter incident
Severely nerfing IP gains
Nerfing bot IP gains
The Jatt incident (granted this one went on for a while, so wel tentatively put this one)
This pitiful 30k penalty when they are already guaranteed 150k.
