i have spent all day playing him today and i did terrible every game i used him. it seems no matter how much attack damage i get he does like nothing. he's a carry but it feels like any other ad carry i do so much more damage with. does ezreal suck or am i just not playing him right?

Have you tried, you know, auto attacking? That's his main source of damage; not his Q. :-)!

I played ezreal before it was cool

he isnt like graves which you can pick up easily right away, and he gets punished way more for doing dumb things.

Triforce, Bloodthirster and then GA is the safest root honestly...
You have to auto attack, not just spam q and w. Q can hit decently, but it's mostly to proc sheen and slow targets with phage.

Honestly once you get the autoattacking down he's one of the easiest AD carries because his e is on such a short cooldown...lets him kite and get away so easily.
