Requirements To Be Eligible To Play In This Tournament:
1.) Must be a level 30 summoner on the North American Server
2.) This is a 5v5 Summoner's Rift (Draft Mode) Tournament
3.) Teams must be premade and have at least 1 back up player. Maximum back up players allowed is 3. Rules about how the backup player will work are listed further below.
4.) No ELO requirement; However, as the period of registration goes on higher ELO teams will be picked over lower ones.
5.) Must follow all rules set forth by Riot Games & the rules listed below
6.) Must download LoLReplay and have it running in the background. Every team is asked that after their match they email in their replay, along with a screen shot of the end match screen showing the players in the after game lobby with the clear "victory" or "defeat" at the top. Emails are to be sent to: Tesla@bladeradio.com ~ This is to prove that your team won or lost. The team captain is responsible for this. Further details on this below.
7.) If an official commentator/admin for the tournament asks to obs the game, the teams must agree. (*Those will be listed at a later time.*)
1.) Must be a mannered player. Any form of bad manner, trash talking or excessive (un-needed) talking in all chat can and will likely result in the whole team being disqualified.
2.) Must be willing to download LoLReplay and run that during the Tournament to allow replays to be sent in, so we may verify the win/loss vs a team. They must also include a screen shot with the end match screen showing the players in the after game lobby with the clear "victory" or "defeat" at the top.
*** A - The team captain is responsible for sending in the replay & screen shot. If the replay and/or the screen shot are not received, that following team can and will be disqualified. In the event that they were one of the top 3 teams, the next highest preforming team in the tournament will take their place.
3.) If an official commentator/admin for the tournament asks to obs the game, the teams must agree. (*Those will be listed at a later time.*)
4.) When signing up to play in the tournament, all members of the team must have their summoner name listed.
5.) Team Rules & Back up Players:
*** A - Each team will actually consist of 5 players and 1 back up player. If the team only has 5 players and a member for that team does not show up, then the team will be disqualified and replaced with a back up team. A team may have up to 3 back up players, MAX.
*** B - The point of a back up player is in case of an emergence. The members of the team that played the placing match are the only ones that will win/have the ability to win any prizes. That means only 5 members of the team will have a chance to win a prize.
*** C - If the back up player is used, they permanently replace the original team mate that they took over. Once a back up player is made to play a match, that is the final team setup.
IE: Joe plays in the first match, but has to leave before the second match. So you back up player, Robert, takes his place and plays match 2. Joe comes back in time for match 3 - However he will not be allowed to play. Once a swap of players has been made, the player replaced will be disqualified.
*** D - In the case were you end up in a placement match(s) and a backup/substitute player has been/is going to be used and the opposing forfeits; the substitute player will still be treated as if he/she played the placement match. This means they will be awarded the prize over the person they replaced.
6.) In the off chance that a player disconnects the following will occur:
*** A - If an unintentional disconnection occurs within 5 minutes from the start of the match & before first blood –OR– a player’s client crashes or fails to load after champion selection, then the match must be restarted. Otherwise if the unintentional disconnection occurs after those milestones, the game will continue as normal (This means no pause). The crashed player may reconnect into the game as soon as they are able to. All bans and chosen champions will remain exactly the same as the original match.
*** B - If a disconnect happens after first blood or the 5 minute period (which ever occurs first), then the match will continue on and best of luck to both teams.
*** C - In the rare off chance that many players are disconnecting, the admins will decide at that time, how to handle that particular match and what will happen in that situation. (Basically that means, admins discretion if multiple recurring disconnections happen)
7.) Each Team participating in Tournament will have only 1 and 1/2 hours before the tournament to check in. All members MUST be present during check in. Back up teams should also check in at this time in case they are needed.
8.) If a team is not checked in by 10 minutes before the tournament is due to happen, then they will be replaced with a back up team.
9.) Only the Team Captain may post registration for their team.
10.) This is a 5v5 Summoner's Rift (Draft Mode Tournament). The team with the better ranking (or listed as the home team) will have the choice to select their side as blue (first pick) or purple (second pick). If there is no ranking for a tournament, then the home team will be decided by a coin flip. In a multiple game series, sides will switch every match (IE: Team A was Blue team in match 1; thus they will be Purple team in match 2 - so on and so forth).
Draft mode proceeds in a snake draft format as follows:
Blue Team= A; Purple Team = B
11.) Teams are allowed 5 minutes max in between the matches. All matches should start within 5 minutes, unless prior approval of further delay is allowed by the tournament admin(s). Upon the admin's discretion, up to an additional 10 minute delay will be allowed. No delay of matches will exceed 15 minutes, in total, due to a team needing a delay. After the time delay is exceeded, the team that has been ready and waiting to play the opposing team, will be awarded the win of the round by forfeit.
12.) Have fun
By continuing on and filling out the rest of this form, you confirm that you have read and agree with these rules.
(Important note: Rules are subject to change at any time, for any given reason, without notification - Though it is very unlikely that they will change at all.)
