Any chance of this Riot? I would love to compete in ranked but despise the rigid meta on Summoner's Rift, plus I rarely have that much time to sink into a single round because kids and home life keep me very busy day to day.

Ignore him. Nome already stated he knows full well there is plenty of interest in it. The problem is that Dom is bleeding players quickly and he wants to deal with that, player perception, and balance right now. That's arguably more important than getting ranked going.
