there is really no doubt is to whether there is an absolute truth or not,

it had been always "WHAT is the absolute truth" that starts wars and religions

Ummm... No, it actually isn't. It is only a paradox if you refuse to accept what logic dictates and demands, and logic demands that there is absolute truth... That however doesn't actually make it a paradox if you refuse to accept it, it only makes it seem like one to you but then you are operating within different parameters than what reality has given you.

Someone earlier mentioned tautology and this is much more akin to that...

It is what it says it is. It refutes itself by being true, meaning that it can only be incorrect. :P
