There's too much ego and gender stereotypes involved, a big strong manly character just seems more tanky/powerful while a feminine meek character comes across as gentle and nurturing wanting to protect their allies : /

Id love to see a bigass weight lifter or something wielding a barbell as his weapon though o.O

lol would be sweet if animation for a skill made him lift buffing all allies near him with his reps
