Clearly someone's NOT doing there job at RIOT as of late. stuff keeps getting over nerfed like Rengar and now this? what about nerfing the pants off Diana for once? makes me feel like who evers in charge is being lazy

it is a lot when you consider that people stacked it, now you won't be able to stack it AND have its stats reduced. It hurts the item way much more than simply "its 5% and 5 arpen"

They nerfed it because as it was it made last whisper an obsolete item, it gave more dmg, gave hp, and more armor pen.

also, it didn't stack, it only stacked how quickly you maxed your stacks, you could still only get 4 stacks out of it, capping you at 30% its just each attack shredded 15 instead of 7.5

5% of armor on 100 armor is 5 armor, and 5 arpen is 5 armor.
1 armor is 1% effective health
10 arpen nerf is a 10% nerf.

It needed that nerf.

One BC a alone is just too strong, every bruiser with any physical abilities is rushing this thing, it invalidates tanks too hard, not even talking about on how it makes adcs even more stupid late game, your bruiser gets a BC and suddenly the carry has up to 30% arpen.

If they made the % a self pen instead of armor reduction then the item wouldnt need any nerf.

I think this more than anything else is the reason. With Black Cleaver's current stats of 30% armor penetration at max stack and 15 flat penetration it is superior to Last Whisper against any target with less than 300 armor.

5 armor out of 15, that's a third of the armor pen on brutalizer gone. Remember when everyone said Atma's would still be fine because it was "only .25%" and then it completely died out?
