Rather than have everyone que and fight over spots. Why not have you select areas you are ok with playing that way you cant complain if you get stuck there.

OMG! I have always thought this would be common sense! This needs to happen!

this is a good idea and not only will it promote cooperation with team, but teamwork. This may also keep summoners from dodging Q's cause they don't get a spot they want or can play.

Or you can stop calling one of only 5 spots, learn to work as a team, and cooperate.

The problem is calling spots.
--Secondary: that people follow this idea of spot calling
---Tertiary: that people get upset when they don't get "their" spot.

It is exactly why I said you should be able to pick what spot you want to play before you go in que that way you get qued up with people that want different spots. And this eliminates calling and everything when your spot is preassigned.

In order for your spot to be "preassigned" there would have to be "spots" to assign.

There are no official spots. Riot doesn't want official, rigid, spots. Players would grow tired of a rigid meta.

This idea is impractical because it would violate the above.

Instead, add "trolls" to your ignore list, and ask riot not to match you with people you have added to your ignore list.

Solves the problem by not matching you with people you seem to have problems working together with, keeps flexibility.

Because this will happen:
Wait time for mid: 30 min
wait time for adc: 25 min
Wait time for a support: 6 seconds

Yeah pretty much this needs to happen, I try to play ranked and the leet dude above me has 2 more ELO so he picks first. Neat.
