HIV doesn't "turn into AIDS", AIDS is simply what the signs and symptoms of advanced HIV are called.
Therefore, AIDS has never "killed" anyone, it cannot, it is conceptually impossible.

The tar is not the only factor. You also have to factor in that legitimate addiction to something can only happen with chemicals, which weed lacks.

Also, regarding the tar argument, that argument sucks.

Medical marijuana is generally recommended to be taken in the form of a sublingual salve. The same could be used for recreational marijuana. Also vaporization and oral consumption completely negate the tar/smoke risk.

.... as it stands... no. I'm not counting medically, if a doctor legitimately prescribes me marijuana i would do it.

By that logic arguments against tobacco don't work because chewed tobacco and patches exist.
