As a LB main, Yi is absolutely impossible to beat as her.

Shove lane into turret all day, zone you from auto attack range or you eat nonstop 300+ dmg alpha strikes.

Try to poke him down he heals it up, but you can't do enough damage to take him down in one combo until you have a lot of items under your belt. If he meditates, it takes an entire spell out of your combo from the massive MR boost, and a Yi would have to be completely retarded to do it outside of the fog of war anyway.

It's a lost matchup from the beginning.

Ignite when he starts healing himself. CC when he's trying to attack you. Dead.

How do you lose to AP yi 1 v 1. His whole gimmick is resetting his Alpha Strike by getting a kill then repeating again and again. Build a little health early and he can't do **** against you. The deathfire change really hurt him as well since he only has one spell that gets amplified from it.

Tried maxing W first for counter push abilities? I haven't I'm just curious if it would work (might keep you out from under tower all day and the return on w may be good for baiting alpha?)

He pokes you down, zones you out from your own wave with an enormous splash range, and eats all the harass you can throw at him - every 20 seconds he's back to full hp. He is pretty much impossible to kill 1v1.

After lv 6 he's close to ungankable, too.

Yeah, this would maybe make you able to keep up with 3/4's his farm, but you'd still eat a lot of alpha strikes doing it and every bit of damage you're able to put on him will be healed up. After lv 5 or so, he's going to be chipping off > 20% of your hp every single time if you don't stand out of auto attack/exp range of the enemy wave. It's one of the worst possible matchups for leblanc, next to Sion or Morgana.

It's not a winnable lane for LeBlanc no matter how you play it, unless he is completely pants on head Ralph Wiggum retarded and channels right in front of you, or you have a shaco jungler and kill him at level 3 or so.

AP Yi has one of the strongest laneing phases in the game, that's kind of his thing. It's the part after that where he's a hit or miss champion in games.

Because while he's sustaining, he's missing CS. And he has to wait 25 seconds between sustaining. If you chunk him for 1/4 of his HP as soon as he's done sustaining, then again 15 seconds later, he'll have no choice but to hang back and wait for his heal to come up, wait for his heal to complete, and repeat the process until he's 50cs behind.
