UPDATE: I've gone back to the drafting stage. I've decided to keep the background but I will be re-sketching the characters. If you could have two champions fighting on this roof top who would it be, and using what abilities?
The people of Ionia have had it with shaco. So they sent yi to take care of the problem.
I don't want to get anyone too excited because there is a stupid amount of work left. You can expect something worth saving as a wallpaper. I also want to make the shaco coming from behind looks a bit more intense as far as movement goes.
Stop 1: Finished the gesture drawing and started a somewhat more detailed line work of shaco
Stop 2: Got the idea down on paper. I decided to have them fighting on a roof top in a walled off village with a Japanese theme. I've ran into a ton of problems re creating these characters. Looking between the splash art and the 3d models for inspirations I decided to make a few cosmetic changes. I wanted to make shaco look a little bit more ninja-esque.
Joke of the day: Master Yi has seven eyes but can he see why kids love cinnamon toast crunch?
Stop 3: Rough color. I'm doing this in a painterly style. Painting the far background and gradually working to the foreground.
