Since I cant play him without thinking about Green Lantern, I just made him his own personal Oath, which is, of course to be read in the same rhyme scheme as the original ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8911puJ2a8 )

In brightest night and darkest day
No living Soul shall get away
Let those who carry life inside
Know that from Thresh, you cannot hide!

I would hazard a guess that your downvote(plural?) are because this is not the right place to put that. There is a fan creations subforum.
I'm guessing it would probably go best in the Fan Fiction subforum.

Brightest night? Darkest day? Jesus this is some fanfiction.net level writing right here. Just reversing the way something was written doesn't flip it's context, you just look silly.

Does this mean that Thresh would instantly die (Again) when hit by the colour yellow?

I'm not a green lantern fan so I'm not particularly learned in its mythos, the yellow comment is as far as my knowledge of that world goes. Would be funny though

Actually no, because the first line is from the Sinestro Corps.

EDIT: Wouldn't it be better to have him as a Black Lantern? Or am I one of those nerds?

Were you implying shoving this little quirk on him as he is now? That wouldn't terribly be cannon, would it? Perhaps for a skin at least, then it wouldn't infringe on the creators creativity.
