Irelia Or Akali?? Help me choose please?

Hey guys, ive been saving up my points for a new champ and ive been debating between Akali or Irelia?
Can i get anyones thoughts please?

Do u prefer an extremely snowbally high single target burst assassin or a bruiser with good sustained damage and sustain?

Try both during free week if you haven't already - you really don't want to be stuck with a champion that you don't like play.

Both Irelia and Akali are strong champions. Akali focuses on bursting down a champion quickly, and snowballs hard. Irelia is a strong top laner that wins most trades if played right. And Irelia has good sustain in lane, like shattered says.

Akali player here, she is amazing - especially in the late game!

Irelia has a better sustain and Akali's passive gives her good sustain, especially with a specific rune page just for her, if you can farm enough for hextech gunblade, really early you will have around 30% spell vamp, and she is really good at bursting people down.
Irelia would be top choice for really high sustain though.
