AP Yi nerf? Are you nuts?

I've played AP Yi quite a bit and have experienced playing against him in ranked, normals, etc. He did not need a nerf at all.

AP Yi Pros cons:


Pros:
-Able to farm extremely well.
-Heal up full hp in seconds
-Does decent damage with Alpha strike


Cons:
-Extremely squishy and has low HP if you build him AP
-Easily shut down with almost any CC or ignite
-Has only 2-3 useful abilities instead of 4 when playing AP
-He is generally only useful to clean up at end of fights
-He has to be fed to be effective
-Long cooldowns
-Shut down in any decently experienced ranked game
-Generally a pretty weak late game


Anyone who plays AP yi in ranked usually gets crushed. CC shuts him down instantly.

CC and he fits in terribly into league of mogs. btw the diffecence between a good yi and a bad yi is when they alpha be this AP or AD this is the difference. you can instantly take out their MVP's if they dont have the instant cc to deal with it as AD and easily kill their entire team should they let you run scott free.

People just don't know how to burst a combo more than once every 35 seconds.
Also, he doesn't need to be fed to be effective, build high AP, and the second any of the opposing champs are low, they are essentially taking around 6k total damage to their team in under 2seconds, not accounting for MR and if minions aren't around.

He does need to be fed to be effective, as any magic resistance destroys his ONLY damage output; his Q. During teamfights, it is likely to be around minions, so your really only hitting about 1-2 people on average.

riot must nerf the alpha strike, at least the ap ratio, since you buy a doran's ring and you won the lane instantly by your capacity to heal and the damage with the Q,

He doesn't win the lane instantly. He has very high CD's, high mana costs, and is destroyed with ANY cc. He also falls off late game.

Anyone who complains that something was "overly nerfed" obviously just liked to abuse that champion's excessive strength. If they suck, play something else. There are over 100 champions to choose from.
