In all seriousness, I wanted to drop some knowledge on gd on behalf of my lefty bros (pouring a 40 for the homies) as there have been a lot of posts about this in bug reports that have gone unanswered. I know it's not a priority but I can't imagine it being an elaborate fix (what's the coding equivalent of duck tape?) and this issue does effect other keys as well.

I'm left handed yet I still manage to use qwer just fine.
I am somewhat confused by this thread.

I'm left handed and I play fine... Then again I learned how to use a keyboard / mouse the proper way.

i use my right hand to work the mouse despite being left handed because i'm not a freak of nature

i don't understand how being left handed causes difficulty with using qwer... It still requires the same amount of motor skill learning unless you are used to using the mouse with your left hand, and there is no reason that you need to use the mouse with your left hand.
