I'm not terribly optimistic about Riot listening to any suggestions, but here it goes anyways.

I really think it would be cool if Quinn got some particle effects too, so far it's really only Valor. I think that they look absolutely amazing, but I feel it would be so much better if one small thing was added: Her triple shot on a vulnerable target, wouldn't it be much cooler if she shot flaming arrows?
That matches her, matches Valor, matches the skin, gives her something nice too... and it's an effect you get to see every so often from their kit...

Riot please consider this, if it can't be done, I would love to at least hear a Riot perspective. Thank you.

Hey Echorion, thanks for sharing your idea. I do think it is an interesting one, but I would worry that adding a fire effect to an actual attack could potentially mislead players into thinking that it's dealing some kind of fire damage akin to Annie or Brand. To me, flaming arrows read as something that usually applies a DoT like in other games, because they set you on fire.

This is just my own personal opinion, though, but I would be wary of it.

a Hextech/Steel Legion Quinn skin would be awesome, though the robotic bird might cause some conflict with Hextech Anivia.

You can actually see the whole arrow in this skin. Make the fletching (the feathery part) on fire while the tip not on fire. This should stop confusion about the whole "fire arrow" thing. Or leave a trail of cinders on her crits or something

You're probably right, but something needs to be added. The current state of the skin is, in my opinion, pretty lackluster. The idea of Phoenix Quinn is too awesome for just some red paint to a couple of the particle effects.

Also, do you know if they are changing the death animation to what was suggested in http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/...07369&posted=1 because that would be a HUGE mistake not to.

No that is a good opinion to be honest, I am just glad to have gotten one at all.
My only issue is I believe only Brand's abilities apply the burn effect don't they? Annie's auto attacks don't apply a burn effect on auto attack either. I also see Valor applies fire effects, they do not apply fire dot damage nor any extra fire damage.

Also, there are other champions like Zyra who have gotten fire skins in the past, and none of them apply fire damage or fire Dots. Also I think they could quickly associate the fire arrows with "more damage arrows" in general if they were new. It also would make that set stand out even more than it does right now.


I also believe tailsmph made some accurate and plausible suggestions too.

this seems a little close to release to implement unless they push back the date although i could be wrong... and if they did push back the release date it'd officially be a month since the last champion u had 1 job riot champ designers 1 job... 1 champ every 3 weeks T_T
