You can only flash to enemies, so you couldn't use it to save your ass.

Besides, if you are already reading that post. I have idea for a champion that bugging me every day.
A viking champion similar to one from Lost Vikings game(I believe his name was Olaf, lol).
Dwarf viking with wooden bucket with horns as helmet, a targe and double edged axe (or better, tankard as meele weapon).
Passive, stalwart defender, protects nearest ally champion, reducing damage he takes (add wooden shield icon above protected target) - it would give players awesome feel that they are really protecting somebody.
His QWE should be generic, just solid skills without too much fireworks, a AOE slow (slam ground with tankard, enemies get covered in alcohol), some kind of gap closer (jumping and gliding using shield as parachute, alternatively there can be reverse poppy ulti, he gains ms per hit, up to xx stacks, use ability to get max stacks+some armor/mr for few seconds), fire breath (we need fire breath ability in lol, there's not enough fire-based champions in lol, ofc it should set enemies affected by Q skill on fire! add another effect if used on dry enemies, so using Q>E shouldn't be MUST DO combo[effective wise, everyone wants to burn things]).
His ulti is very spectacular shield throw (think of cpt america). Skillshot that bounces to other targets if it hits, first target gets stunned, rest get knocked back on ricochet. Skillshot can hit any enemy, but shield bounces only to champions. Obviously it is ability to initiate teamfights, use it on carry who's out of position, BAM, he gets stunned and other nearby allies are knocked back, delaying help from them. Having skill like that creates limitless possibilities to mess with people movement, making this champion really fun to play. (you can use shield on tank to bounce enemy that is between you and tank to your team or separate carry from enemy team etc.)
I know that his Q+E and ulti are counter-productive, but champions shouldn't have skills that you roll thru whenever you can (ryze and malphite for example, I just spam buttons hard to deal damage, I don't care if team needs me to stun now or not, I SPAM BUTTONZ AND KILLZ PEOPLE, most other champions have atleast one skill that you use tactically, usually for defence).
