Keep the feedback coming!

I think I need to experiment with Rally Taric. Helps with the towers, but takes away your early game surprise killing power that Flash delivers. Is it worth it? YOU BE THE JUDGE!

I think in the long run, even with its longer cooldown, you'll find Rally to give a better return. With a flat % increase to damage it will see massive use end game in wrecking turtles and breaking inhibs. Early game the regen is awesome. Flash is some nice combat mobility but if you're ok with positioning and the ebb of team fights you shouldn't need it, imo.

Yeah, I'm starting to agree.

Rally is the way to go with an organized team.

For solo queue, which is what I do a lot with Taric, I've had better luck with flash.

Any suggestions on how to go w/ the mastery trees?

I was thinking something like 21 utility 9 defense:

Spatial Accuracy: 1/1
Perseverance: 3/3
Awareness: 4/4
Meditation: 3/3
Utility Mastery: 2/2
Blink of an Eye: 1/1
Quickness: 3/3
Intelligence: 3/3
Presence of the Master: 1/1

Hardiness: 3/3
Resistance: 1/3
Evasion: 4/4
Nimbleness: 1/1

I invest more heavily into Utility, but I'll tell you the most important and why.

Meditation and Perseverance

These both stack with Chalice of Harmony. If you have 0 mana, both of these bonuses are doubled. The more mana regen you get from masteries the better.

Also, I'd take Good Hands or Expanded Mind over Quickness. When it comes down to it, Taric wins his games at towers, not chasing down enemies or escaping failed ganks. Since towers aren't going anywhere, move speed is less important on Taric then it is on other more offensive champions.

For defense, I'd probably take Strength of Spirit over Nimbleness and Evasion, but the difference in stats is probably so small it really doesn't matter.

Advice noted on the mastery decisions.

Onward to rune selection...how would you prioritize these?

My first thought:

Quint: cooldown reduction
Glyph: cooldown reduction (or mana regen?)
Seal: +armor per level (or +magic resist per level?)
Mark: +health per level

Whatdya think? With Intelligence and full cooldown reduction on the quints and glyphs...you're talking being able to toggle Radiance much more often...which I think towards the end of a game is your most important ability.

I'd do a three stat split with Taric.

Match one of your Quints to each your Glyphs, Seals, and Marks.

Glyphs: cooldown reduction or mana regen
Seals: armor, max health, health per level
Marks: attack speed, armor penetration, or any of the above choices.

Tossing some attack speed onto your rune page helps you keep imbue and your mana up.
