So when the game comes out, naturally it's going to ship with more champions than are playable at the moment.


And Riot has promised more champions will be added as the game continues to exist.


But there are many people out there who would love to see a champion concept of theirs come into existence.


So . . .Riot point champion design raffle. You get 1 raffle ticket for each X amount of riot points. Riot picks one randomly after the allotted time period to buy tickets is over. That person gets to submit their idea for a hero, and contribute heavily to its design.

Naturally, the final word would be Riot on all matters of balance, the specific numbers, tweaking this and that, even changing outright after release if the hero just isn't working right or isn't fun. But the player would almost certainly be allowed to be the primary conceptual contributor for looks, story, purpose of character, etc.



I think this would probably rake in a LOT of riot points. And the fewer riot points out there, the more people are likely to just outright purchase with cash. . . which is what Riot needs to happen, right?

I think this could actually work. Then maybe some sidenote could be added saying "Original Concept/Design by sosandso". Some of these hero ideas are pretty cool.
