Chat whilst in game? + timer

Im sure it's planned, but being able to chat whilst in game would be a handy feature

"hey dude this one is looking long, go ahead." type of conversations, which segways to my next suggestion

If a friend is in game, having a timer next to their name, indicating how long they've been in the game would be handy.

"oh he's only 3 minutes in, i'll just go ahead."

This would definitely be a very handy feature.
