I'm scared of clicking on random links that don't seem to have any real basis for existing. Why hasn't Riot said anything if this exists?

There are two separate testing systems.

There's a Test Server (not really beta anymore) that runs on the PC and tests new updates to the game. To get an invite here you would have had to message Shurelia for a PTR invite.

There's also a Mac Beta test which is a beta macintosh client for the live server. To get an invite here you would have had to post in the mac forum and then downloaded the .dmg file given to beta testers.

I know this is a difficult question to answer, but is there any way someone from Riot can give us a reasonable range of dates to expect a fully functional mac client?

I just started playing on my friends PC, and I find myself checking nearly every day for news about a mac client. I've had trouble installing boot camp on my mac because my optical drive is toast. I'm just wondering if I should wait it out or suck it up and really figure out how to get boot camp going.
