So ive been playing alot with fate recently, with an offense mastery build, and a 20% crit rune build. In my eyes he has one of the strongest early games. Also the way he is NOW he has a very strong end game, that just sometimes fails to utalize all his abilities.
As I see it theres 2 Fates to build. Atk speed, and AP. Building AP is a waste because of it only affects 1/5 skills. The other way to build takes advantage of Wild Card, but I do belive its bugged. You can throw 3-4 reds, or a couple of golds instead of the 1, with enough attack speed. This makes him a great dmg powerhouse, but is this bugged? If its being changed so only "special" card goes thorugh, as I do belive should happen i prupose this:
Let wild card be affected by AP. Now before you yell that would make him to OP, just make it a small % of AP. Say 10% affects Blue, 15% red, 20% Gold. With only 1 card flying out, that would make a good amount of damage, but not be OP, and give more use to the Pick a Card as well. Any thoughts?

He can farm for it pretty fast, it turns him into a tank with high dps.
