So, will the new map solely be for the new mode or will there be the option of doing a regular game on it?

There are no lanes, it's a giant circle and you start off at lvl 3 and level up much more quickly.

So no, it's too different for a regular game.

Dominion IS the game mode, the map is called Crystal Scar.

And only Dominion 5v5 will be played on it.
