sound/music/voice balance?

i'm hoping someone's already posted about this but i don't see anything in recent posts...

the sound options in my game do nothing. not only that but my sound is permanently unbalanced - the 'narrator' voice is really loud, the music barely audible, and the FX somewhere in the middle

it's really annoying - i'm not the only one am i?

No, you're not. As I'm sure you know, the game is still in beta, and the sliders in the Options menu aren't hooked up yet.
