Ive looked at the trailer and the website and I haven't seen any minions.

there are minions, but probally gonna level up off teamfights more than farming.

Same as in regular, there are minions and team fights. Less minions, but more gold and exp per-minion.

It's possible you may also gain gold and exp from things such as the secondary objectives and/or the "quests" however this is yet to be seen.
