taken from the league of legends wikia so i have no idea if it true. and i figured that others were wondering what the IP/XP system will work in it so here ya go.

Point System: Because capture and hold is not meant to be kill based, Riot introduced a point system. The more points earned, the more IP and Exp. Points are earned by completing quests (similar to the ones from Battle Training) like Capture a Point, Defend a Point or even Pick up a Buff. Though kills are still there, getting 20 of them means nothing.
