What? But the guys with the better item are gonna dominate you. If anything Dominion looks like a further watered down MOBA. Jungling and three lanes seemed to be too much for noobs so Riot had to make things even simpler.

You are implying that WoW PvP is bad???

Either you are a true PvE guy (which I doubt as you play LoL) or you are a scrub in WoW. xD PvP is/was great in WoW, at least in Vanilla/TBC.

On a side note, I'm glad Riot decided to make Dominion. Ever since DotA players have been waiting for Capture the Point gameplay, and Riot will give it to us. Maybe later they can give us Attack & Defend and Capture The Flag, why not? (and, hehe, Payload )

Items are earned during the match rather before. Mmos in general tend to make for poor pvp because of continual character development.

WoW PvP was/is a mess of balance due to Blizzard's desire to keep skills generally the same between PvE and PvP. And general neglect.

I kind of understand why people keep comparing Dominion to WoW (AB), but that's mainly only because AB was many players' first experience with a territorial control game mode. And both games have bright, fantasy-themed graphics.

AB was 15 players. This is 5. The balance and play is going to be quite different. The competitive scene collapsed under the game's massive and inoperable (surgery term) weight. Too many people play, and they cant make the changes they need to to retain the PvP playerbase (the vanilla/TBC crowd anyway).
