friend list got wiped

as of 5:45 pm, august 24, 2011. My friends list completely non visible to me while my friends r on play lol.
why is that?

This is the second time i log in today. First everything was fine but now i have no friends... even the ignore list is empty

I have the same issue 0 friends multiple restarts have not fixed it yet.

managed to see one of my friends online though invite but not on my list and they could invite everyone else into game, but none of them could see me or invite me to game at all, even through chatroom search invite
