hey guys, i recently purchased Garen and I've been doing great with him! about 10-1/2 kdr every game. Anyways, I need advice on which runes I should get?

Currently, I'm buying ArP Marks, but as for glyphs, seals, and quints, I'm stumped.

So any advice would be appreciated

I currently use:

Greater Mark of Desolation (1.96 Armor Penetration, 410 IP [3690 Total IP])

Greater Seal of Evasion (0.75% Dodge, 820 IP [7380 Total IP])

Greater Glyph of Focus (0.65% Cooldown Reduction, 820 IP [7380 Total IP])

Greater Quintessence of Fortitude (32.4 Health, 2050 IP [6150 Total IP])

Totals:

IP: 24,600
Cooldown Reduction: 5.85%
Armor Penetration: 17.64
Dodge: 6.75%
Health: 97.2

As the above poster said, armor penetration, dodge, and cooldown reduction are your friends.

You wouldn't do terrible with hp runes, either. You also have flexibility with your quintessences, in my opinion. Health is good, but so is movement speed. People tend to ignore movement speed, but you need it for Garen.

Someone in these forums made a good arguement for Crit chance over Armour pen due to it improving judgement (spinning attack). Other then that Teague's suggestion is pretty cookie cutter and good for all physical Champs.

I go:

Red: Flat Crit
Blue: CD
Yellow: Dodge
Purp: 1 flat crit, 1 dodge/level, 1 crit/level
