All the problems they "might" have fixed if any, would be a few small files most likely. I wouldn't expect a long downtime for Dominion, but I would expect a large line to log in.

They will probably announce it a few mins prior, and after that login and go watch a movie...

Almost certainly not. They will likely put it on a real downtime, as Riot's offices are in LA, and 3 in the morning is not time for them to be launching something big. It will probably be launched in a large patch that concludes at 10 AM or 1 PM.

They have never said when Dominion will be released. They said season 1 will end next downtime.

Nah, it will probably be when the new champ comes. Now ofc that would usually be this Tuesday, but guess why we didnt have any sneak peek yet?

Riot is clever instead of saying a date they say "next scheduled downtime", everyone is happy because they think its soon, but little did they know that the next scheduled downtime is actually in 2 months *trollface.jpg*.

"Scheduled downtime". Not only are the servers not going down, but also this was not as planned. Also that's for Season 2 starting, not necessarily Dominion's release.
