This is kinda true, but also not. A lot of people who are playing custom games just for 5v5 draft (which take a while to fill up) Will be going in queues and getting in games instantly. Also, people like myself who dislike playing ranked because of how stressing it is, but like draft mode more than blind pick, will probably end up playing more games more often.

But most of what you said is right.

I wish I could give you more info, but I don't have any myself. If we end up turning it back off, the reasoning would only be something technical. We wouldn't turn it off if we could sustain it technically, wouldn't make sense
