Snowballers in general are good on Dominion, Akali is one of the REALLY popular ones though. Wonder how long the community will QQ about this before finding a counter. O.o

It was kind of a joke, hence only 2 Tiers and 3 items combined in both tiers.


But on a more serious note Akali is insanely amazing on Dominion. It's not just QQ. The forum masses agreeing that something is overpowered generally stems from something definitely noticeable and to some extent factual. Akali is just plain awesome on dominion because as you mentioned she snowballs incredibly hard. The other reason is that with the amount of beginning gold offered you can't really buy anything to defend against her while on the flip side she can buy an item to heavily increase her damage output (of which the early game component is just flat out amazing)

Add to this that dominion playstyle is mini-battles instead of teamfights and the fact that Akali is nearly unkiteable and you really have an all-in-one dominion package in Akali.

Also BoM is just too sweet to pass up on most heroes imo. xD

Make one of ur team buy the lightbringer. Akali will not be able to sit inside her shroud.

I bet that Lee Sin > Akali in Dominion
