Is it just me or does it seem like the current meta is way too cookie-cutter?

Are the people I'm playing with just ******ed when they insist on:

• Mid - Burst AP only
• Jungler
• Top - Bruiser
• Bot - Ranged AD / Support

lets your AP carry hit 6 as fast as possible, lets your ranged carry farm relatively safely bottom, and lets your top solo hit 6 so that they can gank as soon as possible.

think of it this way. if you have an Annie and a cait, you have 2 viable solo heroes. if you send the cait mid, you have level 6 before annie, and you can gank with assassinate. if you send annie mid, you can gank with tibbers at level 6. which would you rather have ganking your lane?

not everybody plays the current meta. current meta will change, cause i dont think its that great.

i go mid with alistar, mal, tryn, etc and do fine. ive done duo mid, and top/bot solo, no jungler.
people play the solo top, ap mid, jungler, 2 bot cause everybody else does and people are afraid of change.

dont be afraid to mix things up. ive done duo jungling before.

It has more to do with controlling dragon than anything else.

there are two metas dual ap and bruiser/ap thats about all there is to it they are trying to change it though
