The dominion games dont work in custom /facepalm

Which means they are taking up space and server resources, while hundreds if not more players are spam clicking these games to try and get in one to play Dominion. This is a big waste.

In fact, just clear any custom game where the owner is AFK (about 90%) It's almost impossible to start a practice match...or to join one.
