he seems awesome, but is it worth it to buy him?

If you're the kind of player who can keep your distance and harass, Malzahar is amazing.

If you like to get up close and dirty - pass. He's the 2nd squishiest champion, right after Veigar.

Isn't he free soon? Might as well wait to try him out and buy the skins separately if you like him.

buy ROA and Rylais. proceed to have more hp than a tank.

but yes hes awesome. i got the vizier skill cause it looks like the prince from warrior within.

for a support champ he is very devastating against the team with his long ass silence and his aoe that takes off % of max hp and throws it as damage
he also has a stun
hes great from afar and hard to kill if you keep your distance but your ult makes u wanna get all upclose and personal
deny your wishes to be cute

He's support because all his skills except for his Q do damage over time. They soften the enemy champions and your teammates swoop in to take the kill. He does a ton of damage, but it's usually difficult to get a lot of kills with him. I was fairly successful with him (went positive most of the time, had some good 10+ to 1 games), but usually got tons of assists.

Works good with Mejai's though, that racks up the AP quickly on him.
