if you do it lolstatistics style the crawler can only keep track of the last ten games played and it genereally will only update on demand

the other option is the riotstats system but that involves users uploading log files to the database i would vote for this system because your w/l can be pulled from the logs making it easier to have a ladder however it will only consist of people who visit the site and people they have played against
