Twisted Fate, the Cardmaster is one of the most charming, handsome, and stylish champions in League of Legends. If you’re a fan of top hats, capes, and card tricks, Twisted Fate may be the champion for you!
Twisted Fate has many viable builds. The builds used here focus on Stacked Deck and powerful attacks, using the rest of his spells to support. Because Twisted Fate is frail and has no easily accessed movement abilities, you need to be extremely careful about where you position yourself. In the laning phase, syncing up Stacked Deck with Pick a Card can allow you extremely heavy burst damage on your opponents. Otherwise, gauging when to deal bonus damage with Red Card or stun with Gold Card is a very important talent.
The two builds detailed here have radically different item goals. Magic damage output prefers items like Madred’s Bloodrazor, Sword of the Divine, Sorcerer’s Shoes, Stinger, Malady, Stark’s Fervor, and even Void Staff depending in your opponents’ resistances. Physical damage Cardmaster uses items like Last Whisper, Infinity Edge, Stark’s Fervor, Bloodthirster, and Youmuu’s Ghostblade.
