Some of you are responding as if Imaqtpie is the only person to have done this. Almost every top player has "trolled", often more than once.

It's entirely a disgrace but it's not like Imaqtpie is alone. Dignitas just happens to be the most popular pincushion right now so the masses make their mistakes much more voiced than others.

Because he has a team/he's a pro, he has an "image" to maintain for sponsors, has a lot more exposure, and there's obviously going to be a lot more buzz generated around his actions than any other average LoL player. A pro football player scandal is going to get a lot more attention than some average Joe playing a pickup football game, essentially the same concept.

You can't really tell people if they should or shouldn't care about something. If you don't care, that's fine, but you're not the authority on what people should care about.

Finally, especially at that Elo range, you can't really carry against players at roughly the same skill level as you. He made it to #1 and he was able to possibly carry to some degree once up there, but at that level you cannot hard carry people that are just playing completely terribly. You can only give your team a slight edge.
