Everyone whines about this is just a game, but what they don't realize that these pro teams are earning their livings off it. It's their money, they're receiving money as if they had a job, which by the way this would be the best job ever (I mean getting paid to play a game you love?).
In ranked, it's a serious mode where you compete for ladder rankings. I don't understand why, at any elo, you have to troll for that. People troll and just go "it's just a game", but it can be a hobby to some people. It could be something more to others. People in all society shun the gamers like they're no-lifes and unrespectable, but it shouldn't be so. Gamers make livings off what they do, they play or they create new games, and you wouldn't be in this forum if you didn't play LoL. and since you consider this game something of low level, how about you leave and never come back. People play sports seriously and competitively, people don't go "oh it's just a sport, i'm not gonna try hard and not earn millions of dollars like I would if I played professionally". Sport is just a hobby, what of it?
What matters is people love doing what they love, and playing seriously about it. Trolls come and go yelling off about how it's just a game or how it's ___. But it never will stick. If you really believe that for everything, then you must live a dull life and have no reason to live. What is acceptable to the current society and to the older population is that games are not ethical or purposeful at all. What if your childhood had been born without games? And by games I mean everything including sports, drawing, building, running, having fun with friends, etc.
Are those nothing too? Is it just a _________.
Grow the **** up. Real people enjoy things they love. and for people to step all over that is just ridiculous. Especially in this high level ladder we're referring to.
I never ****ing hated a professional team in my life. But Dignitas is one of them. Not cause of qtpie or jatt, but also as a team whole they really don't give a **** to the tournament scene, and to even harbor these dumb teammates and allow them to flaunt and destroy their team image is just, ridiculous.
