maybe you could just have his host as a creature who is there already when you pick him and when you use his ulti the host goes back to the base and becomes uncontrollable until his ulti expires you can control the host again

great idea,maybe something like: he is always possesing one of the jungle creeps and the champion could actually be some more frightening version of an lizard elder or an ancient golem
