So me and my friend Trevor want to get one Champion for each Class to make sure we can provide our team with roles they need.

I wanted to ask if these champions fulfill their roles to an "okay" extend.

Fighter: Riven. My main and absolute favorite to play.
Assassin: Talon. My second favorite.

Here are the ones I want to get in the future.

Tank: Shen
Support: Lux
Mage: Kassadin

Are these alright characters or should I pick three completely different ones?

Edit: I just realized I made this topic on SR, even though it was supposed to go to New Player Forum. Oops.

Lux is more of a mage. Not really a "support" if you're looking to play a support I'd suggest Soraka, or Sona.

Alright, then I will probably get Soraka, since I see almost no one play her.

I like to fit the jungler role in the assassin role as well. So Noc/WW/XZ can fit into that category.

dont get shen, if you want a pure tank rammus or amumu are much better
