Riot Games has always said that they wanted League of Legends to be aggressive and fast-paced, but I have found Summoner Rift to be insanely slow and passive for the first ten minutes or so.
To counter this, they released dominion, which is a great mode and is fast and aggressive throughout the whole match, but summoners rift is still suffering from being passive when Riot keeps trying to call it an aggressive game.
I don't know if its just me but their are two main reasons why this is happening
1. Flash is too powerful and it basically lets you live when you should've died every 300 seconds or so.
2. I find this to be the BIG reason why Summoners rift is really slow and passive, turrets do way to much damage. turrets shut down most diving until your lv 10 or so, while in games like HoN and DoTa 2, turrets are way less effective, which makes game play way more aggressive and ganks are more effective.
To counter the first reason, they've posted that they are nerfing flash and CV which I think is the right way to start, but until they nerf turrets, League is still going to be slow and passive early game.
Now I don't hate League at all, I play it all the time, but to me it seems like the game is slow while Riot keeps trying to call it aggressive, am I the only one thinking this? or are their other people that share my concern?
