Anyone else feel like RIOT has given up on champ lore ?

Well said. I don't get excited over champions for their lore. I get excited when I see gameplay of upcoming champions, mechanic previews, and descriptions of their abilities.

I honestly don't read, or really care about the lores, but it sucks that you guys are disappointed with them. Hope riot does better in the future.

I agree with Spectre06 that they seem to be ending with "Oh yeah and they joined the League of Legends."

but you are really oversimplifying the stories. They aren't as bad as you're making them out to be.

I liked Fizz's story, until the end. Not everyone is a blood drenched war god who climbed to the top of mount Hargezth and defeated the legendary Jade Monkey-Dragon (but I'd like them to be). It was a fun/lighter story that fit the character well. The end was the only bad part of the story (and maybe not explaining why the shark decided to be his team mate).

Not their best lore, but it wasn't too bad. Just my opinion though.

That's right, that's why i got Gragas because of his lore.

Malzahar's lore is the best example for this. Is not a recent problem. Game lore is pritty poor becouse players can't take part in the facts or events of the "story" so game developers just don't focus on it.
