What if you had the player choose who they want to play as from the beginning and try to match them accordingly or at least not match them with someone who wants to play the same character.
I think this would help reduce the queue dodging at least a little bit. You could also try to queue people who choose tanks with dps and vice versa.
Just a thought figured I'd share it.
