Cho'gath's hit box != collision size when large

I played against Cho'gath yesterday, and he got to his maximum size by eating people. At this size he could melee me, Alistar, outside the radius of my warstomp. I tried walking through him to see if I could get closer, and I just pathed around him. I expect this wasn't intentional, yes? I wonder if Ashe's arrow and other skill shots will miss him if they only hit his edge....

It is annoying, but the middle of his body is where you want to click/aim for.

Imagine center of gravity, if that helps.

I missed several arrows on him yesterday because of this. It was funny, he was so huge they couldn't hit him. Either that or he ate the arrow!

I actually played a chogath yesterday and right at the end of the game when we were in their base, i was unable to Feast. I was at max size of course. I wasn't sure if that had anything to do with his size or just a weird error.
