Are the Quintessence of Avarice runes supposed to "tick" like in game items do? Because i noticed that i wasn't getting the extra gold that i would normally get from them.

Is there a cap on how much 1g per 10s a player can have? Because i have the runes and start with a dorans blade. But i am not seeing the extra $$ from the runes at all ( Least not ticking )

I've been told it adds to the ambient gold ticks instead of showing above your head but haven't tested it.

But then, why does the Mastery point tick? ( i could swear it does )
